CEO and founder of Edwards Marine and Sons, Ed Bartholme first entered the marine diesel industry in 1972. Working for a local CAT dealer Ed learned the trade and became a certified marine diesel mechanic. In 1994 Ed along with his wife Laura and their three sons Eddy, Chuck, and Nikki, started their own company. Edwards Marine and Sons was established in 1994 located in Salisbury MD. Ed became one popular face on the shore as he provided mobile mechanic work.

The company was moved to our current location in Ocean City Maryland in the spring of 2000. Just as Ed and Laura had hoped

their sons grew up working for the family business.

Chuck decided to continue his work alongside his father and mother. In recent years, Chuck has taken a larger role in the company transitioning into CEO and owner.
